Dedicated Server
A physical server used by a single tenant, offering isolation useful for PHI workloads.
A dedicated server is a physical server allocated entirely to a single customer, rather than shared among many tenants. All of its compute, memory, and storage resources, and the data on them, belong to one organization.
For workloads involving PHI, dedicated hardware provides strong tenant isolation and predictable performance, reducing the "noisy neighbor" and cross-tenant risks that can accompany shared environments. It is one common foundation for HIPAA-compliant hosting.
