Healthcare Clearinghouse Isolation Policy – Info Access Management

Purpose

Goal: Protect ePHI from unauthorized access from other organizations.

The purpose of this policy is to ensure that information forwarded to Health Care Clearinghouse and/or other similar organizations is protected from unauthorized individual and organizations.

Policy

Procedure: In accordance with CFR §164.308(a)(4) this task doesn’t apply to organizations who do not own their own Clearinghouse Department.

The Security Manager will monitor HIPAA updates to see if changes on this policy entail any additional actions.
